Private light House Boat Tours from Portland, Maine
Set sail from Portland, Maine, and explore the stunning islands, historic lighthouses, and scenic waters of Casco Bay.
Experience Maine's Most Iconic Lighthouses From the Water
Portland, Maine is home to some of the most photographed lighthouses on the East Coast and the best way to see them is from the water. Up close, from the deck of a private boat, with no crowds and no rushing. Just you, your group, and a licensed captain who knows every lighthouse, every story, and every perfect angle for the photo you’ve been dreaming of.
Lighthouses and Landmarks You'll See
Every lighthouse tour is flexible and built around what your group wants to see. Our captains know Casco Bay inside and out and will tailor your route to include the landmarks that matter most to you.
Fort Gorges and Fort Scammel
Two of Portland Harbor’s most impressive Civil War era fortifications, both built on ledges in the middle of the harbor. Fort Gorges sits on Hog Island Ledge while Fort Scammel occupies House Island nearby. Dramatic, historic, and virtually impossible to see without getting out on the water.
What to Expect on Your Lighthouse Tour
Every lighthouse tour is fully private, just your group and your captain. No strangers, no set route, and no rushing past the landmarks you came to see. Your captain will point out the history behind each lighthouse, share local stories, and find the best spots for photos along the way.
